This is such an interesting time.
People are truly afraid of getting sick. Every sniffle or sneeze or cough is not the coronavirus. Honestly, I had to catch myself. Yesterday I had a bit of flim in my throat and I sneezed a few times. My immediate thought was “OMG, I’ve got The Virus!! How am I going to put out an infographic on staying healthy and preventing getting COVID19? No one will listen to me.”
I realized I don’t do well in windy, rainy weather. I am actually allergic to the cold, one of the main reasons I left Chicago years ago. I only had 5 hours of sleep the night before. Not good! So, my body was reacting and protecting itself. I took my immune supporting herbs and concoctions, and declared that I would get at least 8 hours of sleep.
I woke up this morning feeling fine. I took my immune supporting herbs and concoctions again. I will take them everyday. Eat properly. Most importantly for me is to get enough sleep.
My grandmother always said, “Sleep is a body builder!!”
Do your best to stay healthy. Eat nourishing foods. Get enough rest. Wash your hands. Get some light (vit D). De-stress. DRINK WATER!! Hydration is key to flush toxins from the body.
Know your body. Try not to jump to conclusions. If you have a fever, a dry cough, and difficulty breathing, call your healthcare provider.
Be Well. Stay Healthy. Laugh. Love.
